We took trip down in LA last weekend to visit Redondo Beach, a new one for us. We spent three days at their various parks, beach, and lagoon area.
The first day we went to the beach and pier area. Ryan was not overly impressed and wanted to stay in his stroller most of the time. I think that maybe the waves and ocean sounds were a bit overwhelming. The surf was high that day too, so being on the beach was pretty close to the action.
Trevor took to it pretty quickly. He didn't really want to go too close to the water but enjoyed the sand and sand play.

The second day was a visit to the park and then the rest of the day at the Seaside Lagoon--an enclosed area with a man made lagoon. New parks are always very exciting and the boys enjoyed playing in non-wave water. We managed to stay pretty much the entire day at the lagoon. Ryan and Trev both managed to get naps in mid day and we left just before closing time.
We all live in a yellow submarine
Ryan likes big boy swings now and Trev was excited about flying high

After lunch lounging
Trevor laughing at his own hilarity because he brought John Ryan's shoes instead of his own--he cracks himself up (who would he get that from...)
John taught Ryan this game where he wacks people on the head with an empty water bottle. Then Trevor woke up and Ryan decided to play with Trevor... not as funny to all participants.
Whack the mommy
And another park on the last day...
