Beach Trip

We went down to Venice Beach last weekend for a mix of beach, pool, and general walking around. The boys have been in swim lessons all week, and we left right after their Friday lesson. Luckily they managed to keep their streak by going to the pool that afternoon, the next evening and Sunday morning. And the beach part was fun too :)

Nora seemed to enjoy looking at everything--she didn't nap nearly as much as usual, but was generally content

Ryan and Trev were throwing things into the waves to see them wash back. Ryan became very concerned when his little boat was out on a wave so he ran out to retrieve it and got knocked over by the next wave. He was not a fan.

Who needs toys when you have such fun legwarmers to play with?
