Okay... technically it's more of a 13 month appointment than a 12 month appointment. Trevor had a pretty good memory of the doctor's office, since he had to go in less than a month ago for a sinus infection. As soon as I laid him down on the examination table he started screaming, even though it was only the nurse taking measurements. When I set him on the scale--more screams. When the doctor even started to look like he was going to touch him--huge deep guttural screams until he finished and backed away. After the doc was done (before the shots--given by a nurse), I overheard him tell the nurse that she should give him the shots keeping him in my lap cause boy he's a screamer... But the really funny part was when the different pretty nurse came in to give him his shots he immediately started smiling and talking to her. He had no problem laying down on the table and was happy to let her arrange him into the shot position--still smiling up until she stuck him with the needles. So he learned a valuable lesson today that you can't judge a book by it's cover. Well, he probably didn't really 'learn' the lesson...
His 13 month stats:
Weight: 22 1/4 pounds (between the 25th and 50th percentiles)
Length: 30 inches (just below the 50th percentile)
Head Circumference: 18.5 inches (between the 50th and 75th percentiles)
I have to say I question the length (it was taken when he was screaming and squirming) because he's taller or the same height as all the babies who are a couple months older. However, as of yet I have not been motivated to measure him myself. Maybe next time we can request the pretty nurse to take the measurements so he'll stay still.

I LOVE that you have joined the world of blogging! I will put a link to your blog in my sidebar! It's such a great way to keep up with everyone, and an even better way to see pictures of the little beans!
Trevor is such a cutie. I bet he get compliments all of the time! He seems to be a pretty active little dude. I just know he and Joshua would have good times together...(hint, hint...time to move to Colorado!). I can't believe he is already going down the slide...I guess we haven't taken the bean to a park with one yet...we were supposed to have a 'tot park' build down the street from us this spring, but we had so much snow this year (jealous yet?) that all of the construction around here is months behind...
It's good to see that you guys are enjoying your little man as much as we are...
Oh yeah, by the way, a good way to measure the little guy is to use a cloth measuring tape when you lay him down in his crib...not quite as much squirming as at the doctors office...I knew I couldn't rely on those stats when they measured Joshua as 28 inches at 4 months! He's a long kid, but come on!
