We went up to Kennedy Meadows for a bit of hiking and lunch. It was cooler up there, making it possible to enjoy the hiking part of our trip. Trev enjoyed riding on John's back, no complaints the entire time (maybe partly due to the daddy-entertainment: leg grabs, talking, and wearing a hat to pull on). We took a bottle break before turning around and when we got back to the camp grounds found out just how quickly Trevor can cover himself with dirt. He turned into 'pigpen' from Peanuts in
just a
few seconds! He found several sticks to play with, and was pretty good with the 'no-fire' part (even though it seemed unfair daddy got to poke the fire with a stick). It was straight to the kiddy pool when we got home to remove the solid layer
of dirt. He didn't seem to mind.
